OUR SKILLS SESSIONS
Children’s Therapeutic Services and Supports (CTSS) is a mental health program for children and young adults up to age 21 who have a diagnosed emotional or behavioral condition and require medically necessary services. At Hope Family Care, we provide CTSS through in-home therapy and life skills training to help youth and families build emotional regulation, strengthen daily living skills, and improve overall stability in the home and community.

OUR SKILLS SESSIONS
Skills sessions are goal-oriented and therapeutic, helping youth build life skills such as communication, emotional regulation, coping strategies, and healthy relationships. Through structured conversations and interactive activities like art and games, clients and families practice new skills and work toward replacing unhelpful behaviors with healthier responses.

Most CTSS sessions are provided in the client’s home, with services also available at school or in other community settings when clinically appropriate

Our CTSS services are provided by professionals who meet all qualification standards established by the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS). Our team includes Mental Health Practitioners, Clinical Trainees, and Master’s-level interns who deliver services under appropriate supervision in compliance with state guidelines.
